This recipe is 100% no-fuss, is great for kids and adults alike and I haven’t come across a chocolate lover who doesn’t fall in love with it.
In my opinion there is basically nothing more comforting in the winter than to snuggle up on the couch, watch a good movie while drinking a hot chocolate. If you’re trying to be health conscious, it is times like this that it becomes a little difficult. However, there are a lot of delicious, healthy options out there once you start looking! My personal favourite is using Botanica Chocolate Greens powder.(link to sales page) In every scoop, there is the equivalent of 5 servings of vegetables. You obviously cannot go wrong there! It is naturally sweetened with stevia and it tastes A M A Z I N G.
3/4 scoop Botanica Chocolate Greens Powder (link to sales page)
1/4 cup almond milk
3/4 cup boiling water
Add all ingredients to blender and put on high for about 30 seconds until you see a froth forming. Poor into your favourite mug. Top with Cocowhip (link to other blog post) & some Dandies Vegan Marshmallows (link to page) et voila! C’est bon.
H I N T: if you love coffee, I make this exact recipe in the morning and add a pack of Four Sigmatic Lions Mane & Chaga Coffee powder (link to sales page) to the blend. It tastes like the mocha of your dreams.
